Sweet Baby C & Big Brother S!

I was so honored to be asked to photograph sweet baby C. I was very, very nervous since this was my first newborn shoot by myself! He was such a good baby so he made my job very easy! And, his big brother, S, was also there & he was a good helper! Here are some of my favorites:

I love this one! I couldn't get big brother to give his baby brother a kiss, so I asked him to tell him a secret!

Awesome Models!

I took a photography class online through Clickin Moms (http://www.clickinmoms.com). My sons were good at first helping me with pictures for my assignments, but it didn't last long. I asked my sister-in-law. Lisa, if my nephew would be a model for me. He said yes & asked if he could bring a friend! I had these 2 handsome 12-year-old boys that were the BEST models! No silly faces, no bunny ears, no looking everywhere BUT the camera. I asked Lisa if she threatened them, but she didn't! Here are some of my favorite shots:

Miss M is 1!

I was so excited to be asked my by friend to take her sweet little girl's 1-year photos! She is such a cutie! I was so nervous since she was my first baby shoot, but she is such a happy baby, that she was such a joy to shoot! Happy 1st Birthday M!

Prom Session

I got to shoot this fun couple before their prom. They were so much fun & easy to shoot! Since this was my very first session, I was very, very nervous! Luckily, I had teens who don't mind having their picture taken (well, maybe he wasn't too thrilled, but he still did great!) I got so many of Miss T that it was hard to pick out my favorites, so here are a few of them...

Share...the Workshop!

I attended this fabulous workshop that was hosted by Ashley Warren & Grethel Van Epps, two amazing photographers in the Birmingham area. We spent the day learning about photography & all aspects of the photography business. We had two sessions to shoot, too! A sweet little baby boy in the morning and a beautiful family in the afternoon. I learned so much from Ashley & Grethel, and also from the other ladies that were learning with me!

Welcome to my photography blog! I am just starting as a photographer. I LOVE photography! I have been wanting to do this for several years, but it's been over the past year that I really started to become passionate about it.
